Coaches are required to have the following:
1. Coaching Clinic of the ages they would like to coach
There is an online portion that needs to be completed prior to the in person clinic. The online portion is completed through the Canada Soccer Website found here. There is a fee for this which will be covered by VSA, please e-mail Kristen (vsainfo@valleysoccer.ca) to receive a code so you do not need to pay out of pocket for this.
**Please note that the in-person training portions of these clinic dates are yet to be determined.
Active Start (U5-U7)
The focus is on teaching basic skills and basic physical literacy.
FUNdamentals (U7-U9 Female/U6-U9 Male)
Learn how to develop the ABCs of movement: Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed, while running a practice session that is fun, safe and keeps children actively engaged.
Soccer For Life (12 yrs + Female/13 yrs + Male)
The emphasis of this course is on technical and tactical development within the 11-a-side game environment. You’ll learn how to plan and deliver effective, enjoyable, age-appropriate practices and how to provide feedback to your players.
